Frequently Asked Questions

What is The Communion Press?

A monthly envelope of small, beautiful things for Christians of any denomination, made in my small Colorado studio and mailed the old way. Each month carries six pieces: the Letter, the Church Plate, the History Leaflet, the Postcard, the Reflection Card, and a rotating insert such as a bookmark or sticker.

How much does it cost?

The founding rate is $24 per month, reserved for the first 50 members, and the rate stays theirs for as long as their subscription remains active. Prepaid plans are $144 for six months and $288 for a full year. You can choose your length here.

When will my first envelope arrive?

Envelopes are mailed the first week of each month. Order by the last day of the month and your first envelope goes out in the next month's mailing. Once mailed, most envelopes arrive within 5–10 business days.

Do you charge for shipping?

No. U.S. shipping is included in every plan — the price you see is the price you pay. The Press currently mails to U.S. addresses only.

Do subscriptions renew automatically?

Yes. The monthly plan renews each month, and prepaid plans renew at the end of their term — a six-month plan for another six months, a year for another year — so the letters continue uninterrupted. You can cancel anytime from your account, though a founding rate given up is not held. Gift plans are the exception: they are paid once and simply end.

Is the Press Catholic or Protestant?

The Press is ecumenical — made for Christians of any denomination who love letters, churches, and quiet attention.

Can I send it as a gift?

Yes — it makes a lovely one. Gifts come in six months or a full year, and they never auto-renew. Send a prepaid gift, enter their name and mailing address at checkout, and the envelopes go straight to them.
